So this week there are only two matches at the BoB so we wanted to come up with something for the other days. At first we considered facebook updates, but since they’ve changed them the look isn’t as icon and so that wouldn’t have been much fun. So, instead, we did what we are doing — twitter! The public is invited to look through and read the products of a children’s writing project by local teens, which is on display at the Fort Morgan Public Library until May 9.

Free Kids Books From Barnes Noble

Barnes Noble have a sweet program set up for kids in grades 1 through 6 this summer where if they read eight books, they can receive a free book . If there’s one thing I know kids absolutely love to do over the summer, it’s read! Kids read any eight (8) books of their own choosing. Kids use the Summer Reading Journal to tell us their favorite part of each book. A parent/guardian signs the journal when it’s complete. You can also get a Spanish-language Reading Journal .
